Hilton Head

We took a trip with the Henley's to Hilton Head this past weekend. It was a lot of fun and also Ava's first time in the ocean (it was way too cold last time for theocean). We decided Ava is lucky to have already been to the beach twice in her 6 months of life. Ava is the only one that left without a sunburn. Mama Anne took great care of us and it was so nice to relax.

Friends, Family, and my teeth!

Ava is getting teeth. She currently has two little guys. She dealt with the whole thing pretty well...until the last week. I am ready for the teething phase to be over with. Currently Ava and I are sitting our chair and she is trying to help me type. Shockingly, she is not so helpful. Here is a video from today so you all can see how huge she is now. Six months goes by really fast.

Dr. Update

As of today, Ava is 25 1/2 inches long. She is also 13 lbs. 13 oz. Her head is in the 91st percentile for her age. The doctor said everything looks good and she was very impressed that Ava can suck on her toes!:) I only cried a little this time when she got her shots...Caleb held it together for Ava's sake...he was crying a river on the inside.
